Microblading Touch Up (7-12 Months)

Microblading*

Immediately after the appointment, the eyebrows will appear slightly red. This redness typically goes away about 20 to 30 minutes after the appointment.  The color will fade up to 40 percent as it heals. DO NOT PANIC.  This is typical. In the following days, the eyebrows will darken and slight scabbing will occur. It is important NOT to pick the scabs as this may damage the skin and the microblading area. It takes 7 to 14 days for the eyebrows to heal, and about 1 month for the color to fully set in.  A FREE follow-up appoint should be scheduled to reestablish the color within 4 to 6 weeks.

Microblading Touch Up (1-3 Months)

Service

Microblading pigments are not implemented into the skin as deep as a traditional tattoo.  The are area will naturally fade over time.  The results generally last 1 to 3 years.  This depends on the skin type (normal, oily, dry) and age (youthful, mature).  Skincare routine can also affect the last effects of the pigments. To maintain fresh looking eyebrows, it is suggested that a "touch-up" appointment be completed between 12 and 18 months after the initial appointment.

After your procedure, clients MUST follow these instructions:

  • Be sure to apply a light layer of natural oil (i.e grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, or coconut oil) for the 5 to 7 days. These oils heal the eyebrow holistically as well as getting the best results in retaining pigment color in the skin.
  • Oils should be applied each morning and night for five consecutive days.
  • It is important to keep the eyebrows covered in oil while showering or during strenuous workouts. This prevents moisture from penetrating.
  • Apply oils and leave on for  5 to 10 minutes (or while in shower). With a tissue or dry cotton, wipe gently across each eyebrow remove excess oil.
  • When scab appears, DO NOT WIPE. Dab the eyebrow until it's dry. Be cautious and try not to to remove the scabs prematurely. Scabs will ensure more color retention
  • Keep eyebrows out of directly sunlight for 7 days. After 7 days, be sure to wear sun screen for longevity of the eyebrows.
  • Do not scrub, rub, or pick at the epithelial crust that forms.  Allow it to flake off naturally.  Removing the crust prematurely will damage the pigment.
  • Do not use any makeup on the eyebrows for at least 5 days.
  • Use sterile bandages or other sterile dressings when necessary.
  • After the procedure is completely healed, regular cleansing and makeup routines can resume.

FAILURE TO FOLLOW AFTER-CARE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN INFECTIONS, DISCOLORATION, OR PIGMENT LOSS.
